Wow ! They are way more detailed than I expected, do they come like that or do you paint them ? I'd love to see photos of them without the body on .

I'm a big fan of HO scale slot cars. Auto World has definitely been stepping it up with the new releases. I also picked up a few of the new 240z's.

Old school racing all the way!

we got an old shool bicycle thread, so why not a slot car one. :)

along with racing r/c's, i spent a lot of time racing 1/24 slot cars thoughout the 90's-early 2000's. i still have almost every single one of my cars. i haven't really looked at...

Oh no, what have I started???! Something I know absolutely nothing about :shock:

eBay made me do it, and I couldn't resist.... this is what Mick Goddard of MG motor fame did before RC.

I guess i need a bodyshell next.

After much digging i finally located a Mick Goddard motor heatsink. Speaking to Mick he reckons he only made around 100 of these back in the 70's, so a pretty rare find.

Picked up this Procat over the weekend. In pretty good shape. Has newer electrics in it. Came with a few spare parts and some vintage motors and charger.
The motors are a Speed Gems 2, Race Prep Hack Attack (stock motor?) a green, unlabled motor...
