Shock tower of Edinger car?

Shock tower of Edinger car?
I’m trying to restore and/or make correct my RC10 Collection. After reading the 25 years of the RC10 thread it appears I have a Cadillac chassis with Edinger parts. The chassis is the darker gold. It does have the thicker mill front shock tower. Should the rear shock tower be thicker like the front one?

Some late Edinger parts were packaged in early Cadillac kits. Lots of running production changes, and of course the location change.
