Posting here for posterity, since the little thumb knob is often broken off of Novak switches:
The little switch inside the translucent orange or black Novak switch housings is part number SS-12 made by a company called NKK. They are still available for little over a buck from all the typical electronic component distributors like Digikey or Mouser.
They aren’t glued in, during assembly they are slid into the plastic housing and the third switch lead (which isn’t used) is simply bent over to retain the switch. Un-bend the third leg and it slides out with a little persuasion from an Xacto knife.
