I often wonder what became of all those painted bodies, and how many are still around. I had the 55 Chevy body for a period of time before selling it to a fellow member here. It was one of the items I bought from them when they went out of business.

Probably one of the most boring of the lot, but I wanted that 64’ Impala really bad when I was a kid. There was a phase where I bought the low rider magazines and wanted to build a low rider bicycle.

Would be exceedingly cool to track all the bodies down... "Where are they now" style. Interesting conversation in your '55 Chevy thread. Good read and very cool the promo cars of theirs you were able to purchase. Did you ever post a thread on your the Motion painted FXT?

I imagine the bodies that are still out there have changed hands so many times by now that the current owners may not even realize their origin.

I was waiting to build the FXT before posting anything. I didn't want to post just the body without it being mounted. The paint scheme on it is pretty subdued. It's grey if I remember right with scallops on the sides but fits the FXT theme well due to complimenting the wheels.

I have so many cool items I refrain from posting about until corresponding events take place. Like not showing a body until the project it's for is finished. The problem is life happens, and certain aspects take a back seat as the years go by. :?

You gotta love BoLink! Someone there was a real "car guy".

They had an El Camino! How freakin' cool is that? You just know a guy who had a real one bought that body for his son, and they had a blast with it all summer and still remember it today. Great hobby we have.
