sitting in my driveway. hope to get it out later this season. Been about an eight year hiatus for me from real racing. It's a 360 non winged spec sprint.

I think I'd have to wear a diaper if I drove one of those.

Nah, just be sure you're the first driver, then walk away ...MelvinsArmy wrote:Awesome!

Re: not an RC10, but a damn cool 1:1 racer!!!
thanks guys, It's a "spec sprint" which is a very popular class out here in northern california. Basically everything on the car is 360/410 type sprint car with exception of the engine. The engine is a 355 chevy small block, nitrided GM steel crank, 5.7 eagle rods, 13:1 JE pistons, Dart 2.02/1.60 heads, and a two barrell carburetor (class rules). It still makes plenty of power, and for a speed reference, here at the local track the 360 winged sprints are right around 13 second a lap avg. the IMCA type modifieds are about 16 sec. and these are about 14.5 second lap times. There are Six tracks within' 4 hours of me that are running these cars, all with the same rules package, usually drawing 20+ cars for a weekly show and 60+ cars for the open shows. I'll keep you guys posted, but first I have to get the previous owners decals off the car
