Magnum Jr

Post by n33no »

I just received a Magnum Jr. model # FP-T2PA 75.590MHz with no receiver. I wanted to know if I could use the FP-R102GR receiver with it. And what crystals can I use.

I believe that as long as it's an AM receiver and the Futaba brand, that you can use whatever you want. As for the crystals, you just need a matching set in the radio and receiver.

I agree, for example, I am using a vintage Novak NER2X reciever (Sanwa/Air specs) with a later Airtronics Blaster radio from about 2004. I am using the receiver crystal that came in the Blaster's box.... I have found that as long as the frequency, channel count and brand are the same, it tends to work.
