yup, 25 bucks. i put a max bid of 50 on it the night before it ended, since i was going to be at work when it did. when i got home, no one else put a bid on it. so, lucky me. now i have to go route through my old losi stuff to see what i got left. i know i have a robinson spur gear adapter, two of them, actually, a set of those white robinson a-arms, and a set of rpm a-arms. we'll see...............

well, today the truck showed up. like the guy said, it's never been run. it needs a real good cleaning, though. looks like the shocks have been leaking for the past 15 years, and combined with all the dust, it's a mess. the body had been cut out, but it had never been mounted. i'm gonna try to strip the body. alot of it is flaking off already, so it shouldn't be too bad. i'll throw some bearing in it too, while it's apart.

Re: team losi junior-t
boy, i had to go BACK to find this thread.
here's a little story. about 6 months before i bought this truck, my mom was trying to clean out her basement. i still had the box from my original jr-t, and i told her that she could throw it out. now, that was before i was into building/collecting the vintage cars. after i won this truck, i was bummed that i had the box for SO long, i finally throw it away, and then i find another jr-t.
fast foward to tonight. i gave my mom a call to see if the box from my trc lynx was still there for mauri hunter. as she was looking, she says "well, there's a team losi box here that says junior-t". i thought she had thrown it out, but she never did. so, i had to run up to their house and get it.
so here it is. it's still in pretty good shape. there's a little bit of paint overspray on it, though.
inside, the original instruction and the registration form for the team losi tech sheets.
the box from the joel johnson stock motor i bought with the truck, and even the losi shock oil.
and some misc. broken parts. no need for pics of those.

Shhh, all this talk of nice collectable Losi's might make them more expensive to buy lol..
Nice Scr8p. If you ask me, a box in any cond is better than no box (don't got boxes for most of my cars).
All the instructions and rego card also make it better too.
Berry nice.

I agree about the box. A box in any condition is better than no box.
I bought a lot of RC10 parts that included an original box. The box was filthy and had some water damge (the box was already dry). I wrapped it up in clear plastic and placed it on my shelf. I finally had to get rid of it when it because apparent that mold was growing
Since then, I've been able to get another box

Re: team losi junior-t
another little update on my junior-t................
well, i'm a little bit closer to building this truck the way i had it (my original one that is) the last year i raced it, which was about 93-94. i had been searching for quite some time to find the proline chevy truck body i had on it, nip or atleast uncut. well, i finally got one.

Re: team losi junior-t
being as though i got it a year and half ago and still haven't touched it, i wouldn't expect a rebuild for quite some time.bearrickster wrote:keep us posted on the rebuild
i did manage to pick up the red heavy duty ball bearing bellcranks for it shortly after i got the truck. other than full bearings, and parma heavy duty heim ends, those are the only "hop ups" i did to my original one bitd.
i really am glad i got that proline body. before that, i had a parma 91 bigfoot body on it (see pic), and that what i was going to be using. but now it'll be a chevy, so i'll be able to sleep at night.
ford....... pfft.
