What a trip
Well i was at my mothers house last weekend and i was going through some old pics and boxes. After a few minutes i couldn't believe my eyes. This is a pic of me at age 11 at the track i worked at archers lanes and rc raceway it took me awile to remember the local paper came by and did story on us and took a pic of me and a local rc guy Bruce working on my rc10l WOW. So crazy i also found a school paper my mom had kept titled "my life" the last line read my ultimate goal is to win the rc thunderdrome. I guess the bug bit and never left.

That's cool. I like the general pose and car recreation. And respect the courage to skip the hat!

Re: What a trip
awesome find - the kind of stuff that brings tears to your eyes, eh?
This weekend I had an EP touring car race, where I invited the guy who got me into racing in 1995, till then I had just bashed in the backyard. I hadn't seen him since 2002 as we live in different countries. He came with his 12-y.o. son... I lent them cars, motors, tires, batteries, everything I could to make sure they enjoyed their first electric raceday ever (they've only ever ran gas) - they both made the A in sportsman btw. We had a fantastic time
My advice to you would be to find Bruce and take him to the racetrack again
Good stuff!
