the way i have the car setup right now, with the crp spikes, that's how it was run at macungie. the following year we went back to alburtis and ran there until '94. there, we ran the skinny schumacher cat front tires on all four corners. after that, racing on hardwood kinda dyed around here.ROH73 wrote:Hey Scr8p: Is that an Alburtis car?

In '88/'89 at Alburtis, we ran the crp dynamite spike tires all around, but the wide ones. I used Tamiya Subaru Brat front wheels with the bearing adapters. It looked strange, but it workedscr8p wrote: the way i have the car setup right now, with the crp spikes, that's how it was run at macungie. the following year we went back to alburtis and ran there until '94. there, we ran the skinny schumacher cat front tires on all four corners. after that, racing on hardwood kinda dyed around here.

did you ever race at prop and wheels in tamaqua? other than the 3-4 long flights of steps you had to go up to get to the track, that was a fun palce to run hardwood bitd. skinny schumachers ruled up there, too.

Re: Pics of your favorite RC10
My Favorite car? That really hard for me. Here's the 3 i like the most.
This is my A tub car. Its been mine from new. My dad bought this new for me when i was 10 or 12 year old. And I restore it about 3 year ago.

This car I got about 4 years later and its the one that i started to race with big time. And its been all kind of car. This car been apart and rebuilt and altered some many times its not even funny. But it won a lot of races.

And this Kit I found at Jackson hobbies in NJ. hidden behind the corner in about 93 and nobody wanted it because it was a 6 gear kit. so I just put a stealth in it . and it the fastest old school RC10 I've ever seen.
