Re: What's Andy's Story
has anyone tried dying andy's parts? I was thinking that because it looks like they are made of a different material, that they might not take to dye as good.
Re: What's Andy's Story
We used to dye them all the time, back in the day, but because of the difference in materials you noted they didn't "take" dye as well as other parts and primarily just colored the surface (and came out darker than other parts, so dye them seperately if you want them to match). And since it didn't "soak in" as well, it would scratch off when running it.vintage AE wrote:has anyone tried dying andy's parts? Re: What's Andy's Story
Memories... In the glass case at the Ranch Pit Shop, under Gil Jr's 87 Championship car (we have all seen here only in photos) and another Yellow YZ834B were the bodies that Andy would spray... Had I only known.. And My brother's GoldPan was upgraded to Andys Wide arms front/rear and the graphite chassis. My brother put them on before anyone else did...wow could he turn!!!
I saw a few bodies at Pegasus Hobbies over the weekend on the endcap
(while pickup up nitro spray and air filter oil)
Who does those?

Re: What's Andy's Story
They are the prepainted bodies hanging on an endcap inside the store. I dont know if you can do any ordering (like that) from their website, but an e mail never hurt.
