Ok,
After watching the video..
Now I've GOT to add a classic to my collection.
I'm gonna have to step up the bids on E-Bay I guess....
Those old videos are fascinating, I've got a whole new appreciation for the old RC10 now.
I've owned one in the past, but it was a rebuilt basket case. In the end it turned out to be a great truck conversion.
At the time I was Kyosho (Ultima) committed, and didn't think the '10's quality measured up. However, I have to give it credit, it was innovative for it's time and fun to modify.
Since Tamiya may be on the verge of giving the RC community what it wants by re-releasing classics, it would be neat to see one of these come back from the past.

That was a cool video to watch...when he's holding the RC10 the back motor guard is on the outside of the chassis on every other one I've seen it's bolted under the chassis...any reason?

I remember seeing this video in magazines, good to finally watch it. It's soo old school 80's. You see Curtis's pocket protector and calculator watch!
