Well, if you've got a new truck, at least it's got cup holders in the tailgate. At least my '02 GMC does.

I hear ya. The women in my life are quite forgiving of my hobbies as well. The garage is pretty much my own personal man room, the girls stay out of there. Of course, the house is theirs, the garden shed is theirs, the garden, yard, patio, koi pond, dogs, chickens, and just about everything else is theirs, but the garage is MINE! I'm just here to fix the stuff the breaks.

Re: What your workstation looks like?
Well, I finally decided to take a pic of my hobby cave. I am trying a different approach than most. I, in my unorganized state that I'm usually in, decided rather than clean everything up and make it look nice to just pop off a few pics "as is". Laziness overwhelmed me I guess.
For those wondering, I get a regular supply of copy paper boxes. They stack well and house buggies quite nicely. So, no, I am not a paper hoarder.
Some day I will clean this place up.

I love it! Do you label the boxes with contents or do you just remember where everything is?

I'm lucky enough to remember my telephone # at times. So to answer your question, yes, they are definetely labeled!

I wonder how many of those boxes contain your See's wheels stash?

Yeah, my 1:1 Jeep bumper has been in "staging" for a few months now... It and the winch makes it hard to get a stool in there. Hopefully they will be installed in the next day or two...
I actually don't have any wheels stored back there.. Some kind of vehicle resides in each of those boxes... Some have bodies in them. My people space is slowly shrinking...

Re: What your workstation looks like?
i was evicted from the main floor to the upstairs with all my rc stuff. but boy did it make it nice. i haven't completely finished my workbench but as you can see i will have enough room to get me by for a while. this room was a complete overhaul. new floor, drywall, paint, lighting, outlets, workbench and shelves. the wife and myself are very happy with the new work room. she don't have to move it all so we can eat at the dinner table and i can leave it out and slowly work on everything without stuff being moved on me lol.
here's a full 360 degree view of the room.

I live in a old house built in 1920. I am trying to convert the coal room into a hobby room. It is along way from being finished . Still working on the floor and trim .

Re: What your workstation looks like?
HA! I wish I had a dedicated work station or 'hobby room'. This is the corner of my dining room/computer room/disaster area. Small one bedroom apartment = not nearly enough space.
