Vintage Article: RC10ST review (RC10T)

Post by FifthScaleRacer »

If you find a RC10T NIB kit, with narrow front tires..get it! It is very rare as Associated switched to large front tires very early in the production run. The boxes are different and the rarer versions show narrow tires on the side of the box.

I like those wheels better than the big ones.
He's an idiot. Comes from upbringing. His parents are probably idiots too.

My original instructions say they put the wheels that were the most popular for the times. I got the three peice wheels that were all the same size. Bummer for me. I also got black parts in my kit instead of white. Thanks for the info about the narrow wheels.

The only reason why white are so cool is because each of here has said they are so cool...... sometimes it is funny how we create our own monsters and how this forum nfluences the market. This is all my opinion of course.

You'll soon find that there are several different incarnations of the 10T.

Up until i saw this article, I was looking at getting either an Traxxas Eagle OR Hawk, or the Losi JRX-T.

Team Moo FTW! I would have loved to have gotten the narrow wheels as well.

I have an extra set of the narrow fronts if someone feels like wiping the spray paint off them... i took the teal krylon to them back in 92

the paint has probably "tinted" the nylon by now.... probably not very white anymore. I have a set of black dyed fronts i am willing to send to someone if they need em for a build...
