Yeah why did they put their faces on the ads? As if that was the face you would see when entering the store! I don't know if seeing the face of the owner on the add would make me go there more than anywhere else....
Here's the a review of the RC10 from the very first issue of Radio Control Car Action Magazine in 1986. I remember reading this article for the first time when I was a kid. I saved up money for a year and finally bought the RC10 kit in 1987 I think.

Yep, that is what all mine say, MADE IN ITALY. I really wish I could nail this down.
Just pulled my RC10TC out of storage after 20+ years. Put a 17.5T brushless motor w/ 3S lipo and a new body on it and it's now my favourite car to play with.
