Damn, i completely spaced that the event was last weekend.

Great pics/vids. Looks like a lot of fun. If I could ever get a job and make it stick, i totally want to come race with you all.
Narrowing down what I would run would be difficult! I have been putting less work into my Vintage as of late due to looking for work. Seeing the beautiful cars and watching the action made me realize why I like Vintage so much.

We need to find a way to have a West coast race in or near AE. Might be fun to get some pros out to race their vintage cars. Seeing the likes of Jay Halsey and Cliff Lett, esp. since the RC10 Anniversary is coming. Just a thought.

I'll see how things go, at some point I want to make it to one of these events!

Hey they can always come to CT to race at the Vintage Nationals, it's like moving the Cactus Classic to CT so that Kyle Rhodes can race in it....

As this event grows, some of those pros will eventually come up and race...

it was more intimidation than a dissapointment to make the a-main... but at least in the a-mains the marshaling is alot better. 8)

I can't decide what 2nd class to run next year, the heavy metal looked fun. I think I'm leaning towards 2wd truck though, buggy was stressful since there were so many fast guys. I felt lucky to make the A since most of the weekend my driving sucked. I got 2 good runs in, but on one of them my transponder wasn't counting. decisions decisions decisions :D

Hey Mark,

Run 2wd as a your competitive class and run Heavy Metal as your fun class.

That's why I ran Classics, I knew Truck and Buggy were going to be competitive, so Classics was my fun class.

Making the "A" main for 2wd buggy is no small feat, we had a lot of really fast guys in there.
