Also don't forget to pick up some blue aluminum shock caps. You will need to find an anodizer to make them black though I have blue ones, just got to get them sent off to be ano'd black. Or you can try to find a set that has not been beaten up (the later is super difficult).

Re: Slotcarrod's Cliff Lett 91 Worlds Team Moo Build
AE changed the shock bodies slightly along the way. I purchased a pair of the 1.32 recently and compared it to the set from my 10T. The color is different and the new ones have a very faint threading at the bottom of the body. Also, finding decent black aluminum shock caps seems about as hard as finding the necessary Yokomo parts.slotcarrod wrote:

Thank you.. a lot !!..I was totally at a loss for the spring cups etc as well.. so this is super useful.slotcarrod wrote:They are the same size as the rear worlds rere but totally different.Patriiick wrote:I m building my own nix91 but i am at a loss for shock sets..
Could someone point me to the right direction for the 1.32 and 1.02 shock sets i should buy ? Threaded or not .. And not too expensive
Are the rears the same as the worlds re ?
Thanks !

These will help if your not doing a Masami replica and most team drivers used them: (though not 100% correct, they look good)

Mine will run as a modernish racer just like yours with my favorite scheme of all below (The Team Yokomo scheme but with the color variations)
I can't drive 55 !

Re: Slotcarrod's Cliff Lett 91 Worlds Team Moo Build
I have the body from VAE that I need to decal, I also got rear tires. Front tires and a ESC that needs a refurb are in the mail, but I really don't feel comfortable working on my daughters kitchen table where I have to put everything away each time. I like to pick away at my projects when I have a spare hour or two, or even five minutes. I hope to be back in my house by the end of this year but it's not looking good! It's been nine months!edwin pibal wrote:Any Updates Rod ?

Anyway, I may just set up my work station in my man cave, but I risk having all my stuff out during finishing construction of the house. I know these guys are all bonded and have thousands of dollars in tools laying around, but just a little scared to leave my stuff unattended. What to do?

it was a Massive earthquake in the worst possible place for it to happen, it Liquified the ground in certain paces, Christchurch copped 2 monsters in the space of 6 months if i remember correctly,
certain part will never be re-opened, terrible stuff

you would be right Oozzee, we have family whos house is in "the red zone" which is off limits in definitely, so its in limbo, so no insurance payout, nothingOozzee wrote:it was a Massive earthquake in the worst possible place for it to happen, it Liquified the ground in certain paces, Christchurch copped 2 monsters in the space of 6 months if i remember correctly,

Wellington copped a few big ones last year as well, but fortunately no one was killed (unlike Christchurch)
sorry Rod, this is about your Cliff Lett stealth car, fingers crossed you get the chance to do work on it soon, and if your truck was anything to go by, it will be awesome!!

I starting to get set up and I can lock the door to my man cave if I want to. Not shown, but lights are in, and electric panel door! Very happy!
Oh! Had to get the AE blue chairs from Ikea, very comfy!
Got some tires, thank you Aaron. Got my sweet body, thank you Anthony!
Just need to start decaling!

Aaron shipped the adapters to MT, he said he was waiting until he got the front tires before I paid. I'm sure he will get them eventually. It's all good.
