Absolutely stunning - well done Kenooze! I think this is my favourite build so far that i've seen on RC10Talk!

Looking through your build it is apparent that apart from a few choice upgrades & an array of carefull alteration of the standard RC10 parts (rear wishbones, bulkhead etc) The car is essentially very close to the car you could buy from Associated. Compare Brian's car to the pictures of Masami's Stealth cars from a few years previous, where as Kinwald's car is subtley modified Masami's Detroit/Oz cars are almost unrecognisable to a standard RC10 of the time. I wonder if Associated requested that the race cars should at least look much more like the standard cars (to maintain sales perhaps) As even Masami's car carried the same mods as Brian's car in England.

Strange also that the team cars did not run the milled chassis as sold in the 'world' kit

Not sure if this photo was taken from the 1993 Reedy Race or the actual Ifmar Worlds in Basildon the same year but Masami's car has the Factory Milled chassis. (Photo taken from the scans archive http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=5192).

Re 1993 Brian Kinwald Replica, they don't come any better than this Kenooze. Excellent work and can't wait to see what you come out with next. Kudos.

Well, the car looks near to be down but not already finish for 2009 .

I still have to hand made the battery tray.

BUT, the 3D file of this car are down and looks terrific, isn't it ?

I have already designed many parts of they cars, and will be able to set all cars ever produced with the stealth transmission.

But I'm not sure about the final design of the posters.

Like an industrial drawing, like the old drawings with the blue background and white lines ???

I still waiting for a shell, but I still have to do the battery brace.
After designing something with the help of the Car Action pictures, a friend of mine cut it in a stainless steel plate.



After a serious looking, I have some ajustement to do before cuting in my last black glass fiber plate

i still say brian just modified a stock associated #7325 7 cell fiberglass battery brace. and if you look at the rcca article of this car, he didn't do that nice of a job on it.

here's the thing though........ brian wasn't building a showcar. perfect cut outs in the battery strap isn't gonna make the thing go faster.

and being as though this is a replica, the battery strap for this car shouldn't be perfect either, imo.

i'd be willing to bet when brian built his car it was very nice. he obviously put a lot of thought, time, and effort into it. but it was still being built to be a race car, not a show piece. so in that respect, cedric's car is bound to be nicer.

I'm really sorry for my vision of a replica car !
I'm not sure to did this so "perfectly", I just try to stick to the Brian job.

About the battery brace, Yes, I guess, I will have some difficulties to do the same "foot made" quality.

But if you take a look at the added pricture, the Brian brace looks really different and not cutted in a standard brace, from RC10 or 10T.

(The stainless steel part pictured still my first design.)
