WOW.. Those are some nice looking cars. Nice work guys.
I hope that someone gets some good video footage of the racing. I really want to see the Heavy Metal class, should be fun to watch.
Good luck guys.

Re: Your vintage nats competition Updated
Chassis is done body is done untill my Clinehobbies stickers arrive fron the printer. I found some Losi rear rims that work great and I did not have to buy the duratrax wheels:) started as a Thrashed A chassis we cut down the chassis sides, has truck front end with RPM worlds arms and Rpm Team car arm kit in the rear, sealth trans, truck shock towers along with the cut down sides allow the body to be slamed. I am happy with it we also did a second car with only standard mods. Can't wait for the Nats

Re: Your vintage nats competition
Hey Cline that gold tub is looking sweet sir, I specially like how low and mean looks, that's gotta be one scary car to be followed by
You guys are gonna love the track for this race, the guys at RCHR (Mark and crew) took down the big table top and made a couple of changes to the track and it's looking awesome, I ran my XX, another was running a gold tub RC10 and he did good, and there was a 10T also running and that was looking pretty good, like I've said before, you can either air it out or roll over the jumps, the track allows for either.
I can't wait to see ya guys, I'll probably be running my 10T next week, just to get the feel for it, I did a couple of practice laps with it, and it ran pretty good with the brushless, I just have to set up the suspension a little better, adjust camber/toe in and just tear it up

Re: Your vintage nats competition
This I what I would sport if I could make it. I haven’t work on the cars because of work, busy, busy, busy. Hope you guys have fun and take lots of pics for us unable to make it… and some video footage would be nice.
Some of you have seen it but I finally finish with the decals.

Hi 5 on the CC JRX Pro with 5 link suspension. I was going to do the same with mine before I sold it all. I am glad someone else did.bngiles wrote:

Re: Your vintage nats competition
Here's my buggy. Some of you old timers might recognize this body, it's the one I had when I first built my shelf queen 6010. I changed a few decals, trimmed it a bit, and here it is, ready to race. I think the car is pretty much ready to go, these shots are from the test runs. I do have a major reception problem though. I don't know what's wrong, I put the receiver up on the shock tower, and it helped a little, but it's still a big problem. I've got a Reedy motor, and their website says it has capacitors on it already. I only get about 30-40 feet of range, and I'm using an FM radio. I've never had this problem before.
