LOL - It's not as if I needed it. :) I have 9 of these guys and one on the way already. Only 4 of them are anywhere close to where I want them. Plus, I have a whole bunch of Losi projects in the works. I assume that it was your sign that said you were looking for vintage stuff, right? We might have to talk. I was going to bring a bunch of stuff down to sell but I got cold feet at the last minute. I'll hit it next year for sure though.

Yeah, I had the sign...
The guy I got these from said he had a bunch of older cars, but he didn't bring 'em 'cause he didn't think there was anyone who wanted 'em....haha. And I left before getting his #. :(
I did get a # from a few guys with older cars they "may" want to sell....a 5 link JRX2 and a YZ-10. I gotta save up a few bucks now...

Really? They are a dull gold color.....just a hair lighter than the faded shocks.
Do you know what brand they may be???

Josh/Red,

Are you guys BOTH in WA? Im down in Portland. We have a small group of vintage guys down here. We tried to get a vintage class going at the local indoor track, but it closed at the end of last month.

We should try and find a way to organize a vintage race. I know that folks down here would be all for it. Hows the Vintage up in WA?

Cars look good. I just scored a killer deal off the local CL. I gotta stop finding bargains! Im going Broke!

Yeah, me and Josh are up here in WA. We were actually at the same swap meet on Sunday but didn't know each other. Vintage here is...limited. There is only one track that I know of for off road, maybe Josh knows of more.

Hey! You didn't happen to get the two vintage RC10's with all the parts off the Portland CL did ya? I talked to the guy and was going to trade him some stuff, but he never got back with me....so I assume someone else got 'em. They were a good deal for sure. :D

From what I've heard on another board, Tacoma R/C Raceway was going to have some vintage racing, but it never panned out....not enough guys. But I have some fellas who aren't on this board who have some vintage cars and I'm trying to get them to make up runners again.
I plan on building a small track at my place. Not much room, but just something to have a few guys over, race our vintage cars and drink beer.....

I know its a hell of a drive, but there are a group of us that are looking at running here. Rustbucket (Don) is a vintage nut like me and has been pushing the vintage scene down here. If you guys are willing to make the drive, I can guarantee a good time.

Yep...that's the stuff....
I had emailed him some pics of a car he kinda wanted and was working on a deal to trade, as I wanted 'em, but then he never replied back, so I figured someone finally came up with cash... I had it, but it sucks to be so far away...haha.

So, are any of the motors modifieds???

Definitely a traxxas trans. The white plastic indicates pre '90 I believe. Probably from a traxxas hawk. The trans might be worth something on ebay.
