Re: JRX2 Side by Side: Erich R. vs. Bluegroove
Define you guys? I don't know that know that team blue groove is willing or wants to share notes. I have had the mold "in process" for a long time now and with my issues with work getting in the way of my personal interests, haven't been able to finish it. I certainly don't see just tossing it in the trash as an option. Besides, a little competition is always good for the market, never hurt anyone.

After talking to Mrlexan, I am planning on purchasing from him. I have purchased from him before and was very pleased with the product. I feel there is nothing wrong with more than one repro to choose from.

Re: JRX2 Side by Side: Erich R. vs. Bluegroove
all i was getting at is that there's 4 people to get the same stock jrx2 body from. erich, bluegroove, and eventually brandon and yourself. with the amount of different bodies that were out back in the day that could be done, is it really necessary?mrlexan wrote:Define you guys? now if you already have a mold...... so be it. but me personally, i wouldn't reproduce anything that's already being made by someone else. why bother? there are plenty of other bodies out there to put your time, money, and effort into.
not looking to start anything, just passing along my opinion.

Re: JRX2 Side by Side: Erich R. vs. Bluegroove
I think everyone has a special body request but I'll be patient and definitely want 1 or more JRX2's by the lexan master. How many will sell is one of his deciding factors but if he does do one and his price is right you always know the quality of the product will be top notch.

Re: JRX2 Side by Side: Erich R. vs. Bluegroove
Good point. Based on the fact that I actually received the bodies from erich, and now Blue groove has a good runner body, I see no need to mould the original X2 I have. I'm sure Mr Lex will make excellent X2 bodies, and will sell every one he makes. Give us some credit though....scr8p wrote:all i was getting at is that there's 4 people to get the same body jrx2 body from. erich, bluegroove, and eventually brandon and yourself. with the amount of different bodies that were out back in the day that could be done, is it really necessary?mrlexan wrote:Define you guys? I think what it comes down too is simple gratitude to you all. For us "people" who cannot do this work, it is a blessing. If one is better, than the people who want to buy the best will buy it. I got screwed on one. BG was the next option. If Lex is making an even better one than he has my $.
I am just glad that it is all finally happening.

I want some Decals . Just got mine from Groove and was damaged in post. Very poorly wrapped and box was not even tapped all round.
Cant go wrong with there customer service as they are sending a replacement , just add postage cost.
I need decals badly..
Is anyone going to do some????
Im not the only one.
Cheers.

I am interested if any plans on making a Jrx Pro body and or stickers. From what I have been reading on here the Jrx-2 body will fit with some extra trimming.

It's nice to know that there are people out there putting time and effort into creating excellent repro works of art that can fill the void of products long gone and very coveted.
Thanks guys
