That's a good question, I don't know. I'm going to have to do a test fit tonight when I get home.shodog wrote:will you have to modify the RPM gear cover to fit the litesink motor plate?

Re: Finally…a build thread of my own!
Well I finally got around to working on this a bit more and in my best Professor Farnsworth voice "good news everyone". No mods were needed to fit the RPM gear cover! Here's a couple pics of the progress so far. Any criticism or suggestions are always welcome.
Thanks, Dave

Man, that does look really nice. I have always loved the contrast with the use of white and black parts. Nicely done.
I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike.

I really like the way the edges of the chassis and shock towers add to the visual appeal. Sweet!

Thanks for all the compliments guys.
Check the shot on the first page. They're JPS aluminum wheels wrapped with Jammin' mini step pins in the rear and Losi mini step pins up front.reign79 wrote:WOW me likey beautiful build what are you planning on running for wheels and body?
Thanks, kind of reminds of a delicious Oreo cookie.bscotti wrote:I really like the way the edges of the chassis and shock towers add to the visual appeal. Sweet!

Looking good Dave!
But, not sure if I am on board with the white gear cover
Looks like it may be too white, but it could be the pictures. Since you live 3 blocks from me I guess I will have to inspect it in person (and possibly steal it from you)

a wavy black & white checkerd flag with blue shred's coming off the front, that would be a sweet match.

Thanks, I've got one of mrlexan's Turbo Mirage shells for this build. As far as painting it I'll probably go with an old school design in blue, silver & red (Redbull colors since I'm a junkie for the stuff as rc10resto likes to point out). I just hope my painting skills can pull off what I have envisioned for it.RC Chick wrote:really nice build. What color are you going for on the the body?
That would be sweet but I'm sure I'd hose that one up for sure.wyldbill wrote:a wavy black & white checkerd flag with blue shred's coming off the front, that would be a sweet match.

Ok, I just left Dave's place and his latest build looks even better in person.
Top build, perfect attention to detail. Get those new pics up for every one to see!

Okay per Brian's request and inspired by scr8p's outdoor shot of his Fusion tub. Although the 96 degree sunlight proved to be blinding so I took my pic in the shade
