Here she is, Finally..... UPDATED 7/09/08

Post by rc10absuer »

After about a month, im finally finished. :D :D I set out to create a vintage runner that i can be proud of, and i believe ive done just that. Its only my second Lexan paint job but i didnt do to bad, these bodies arent easy to cut out  The only thing not done is the front arms and the wheels, my nip white original rc10 arms will be here on Monday. Im waiting for JPS to start running wheels again though. But i couldnt wait to post pics.... my camera sucks!! pics look terrible

Here is what i got to start with

Here she is now,

I havnt tested it to see if i got the bugs worked out of the tranny yet but i think i did. Parts that i have nip waiting for it, shock rebuild kit, all new springs, sway bar kits, white arms, Let me know what you think, Thanks Josh

Looking good, don't hold your breath on the JPS wheels front, they don't seem to have time for little wheels anymore :( at least thats the impression they gave me the last time I dealt with them

I hope he comes through for ya, he made me the same promises every week for nearly five months

Yep, that's definitely a runner you can be proud to drive. Very nice.

i emailed them asking about what wheels they had available, and the guy was fairly prompt in replying. then when i emailed again asking for 4 or 5 sets i never got a reply...

Update, I got the arms in and trimmed the body out and did a final cleanup. I just gotta find some respectable wheels to finish it off. I also have to apply the off road sticker set coming, and do the netting for the windows, oh and i still have to put the nip sway bars on. Josh
