Re: My Ayk Radiant
the pro definitely came with gold wheels. I specifically remember pulling them fresh out of the pack. They were chrome plated black wheels, then coated with some kinda yellow stuff to make them look gold, which was easily removed with a solvent. the wheels look painted becuase the chrome wears off the black plastic, and it then looks like someone painted it. Mine are the same way.
unfortunately, I only have a flap left of my box, the rest got water damaged, I'll have to try and take a scan or pic of it one of these days.

Re: My Ayk Radiant
Cool car... I also have a proradiant as well as a radiant. All packed up in boxes at the moment as we just moved into a new place and I had no time to setup an R/C room. The Radiant is a nice gold plated all aluminum chassis but heavier than the proradiant.
Here are a few picts of my cars. At the time they were collecting dust as I was away from Canada, now I'm back but I hve no time (for now)

By the way how is your spur gear mounted? I don't recognise the metal bit in the middle of the gear.

Re: My Ayk Radiant
My Boost has a few customized bits on it and the spur/slipper is an aftermarket 'WASP' unit.

The Radiants, with the saddle Race Prep conversion, are absolutely awesome to drive.
Cheers

Re: My Ayk Radiant
i LOVE that boost body. way cooler(to me) than the Pro Radiant body. WIsh I had known about it back then, I would have ordered a few when they were cheap and available.
