Will Jay be driving an RC-10 or a vintage Losi?
I'll be driving scr8p's prize Kyosho Ultima..... Oh, you meant Jammin Jay.
I'd love to go as it's only about an hour or so from where I grew up and about 20 minutes from where I went to college. But, I think I had my fill of visiting the family during the holidays. I'll be there in spirit. BTW, Jeff we should talk about an idea I have in mind.
Jay (the other one)
I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike. www.gojammedia.com
The 1st Annual Spring-Fling is upon us at last!
There should be a very large vintage buggy-racing class at this event, everyone running a 13.5 motor limit.
This Sunday, March 27th The RC Asylum is creating the new layout for the race and it should be amazing and perfect for the vintage class cars (no huge supercross or 1/8th scale jumps as are common nowdays on big tracks that also race 1/8th scale nitro).
I know of 5 to 6 RC10Talk members going, and we hope to see everyone having a great time.
The bad news is that I haven't heard back from Halsey after he said he was coming.
The good news is that this car will go to the winner of the vintage class! Every part on this car is new. It also comes with a Mr. Lexan Mirage SS body, AE wing kit, MVice front bumper, B4 wing mounts (so the winner has the option to mount the wing either way) and a paint job anyway the winner wants it, courtesy of Kustomrcgraphics!
No Pro Radiants this time. We recently switched from AE after 27 years when we were picked up by TQ Racing, so ALL of my effort has gone into the new cars. I have to say, the switch was worth it!

Yes and no. With TQ providing all our cars/parts we have an obligation to run, support and promote their products. So, rather than run my RC10 in stock or mod buggy I will be running my TQ SX10. If there's a vintage specific class I will run the RC10.

So does this mean no more vintage Rc10 racing?

Jay, I'm not going to moth ball the RC10 just yet, but I won't be racing it unless there's a "vintage" class. With the way the vintage class is growing down here I am pretty sure the RC10 will still see regular use.
Awesome bigjeepzz!
Looking forward to your arrival, you're going to enjoy the huge and flowing track layout!
The vintage class should be fairly large and made up mainly of RC10's.
It's Spring-Fling Time!
Well I finally got to put some faces to the names/cars...It was great to meet Ruffy and Jeff Harris, and see the gold tubs alive and well. Best of all, I never thought I'd ever see a bunch of them together on the racetrack...Thanks guys.
Here are some of the action shots taken by Jason Venezia during the Spring Fling.
Jeremy Harris won the vintage class, Jeff finished second with Jake Emperley finishing in 3rd place!
Congratulations to these guys! Well Done!

I just scored 4 original RC10T's in really good shape and want to build 3 of them up to look like the 3 Prototype trucks that the team took to the Florida Winter Champs. I've found pics of Cliff Lett's truck but I cant find the other two. Can anyone...

Found a better look! This video, about 20:58. Also looks like all three trucks didn't have the grill decal on them...
as described in the subject line this will be my upcoming first project.
Mark was allways one of my favorite drivers and also his paint scheme was outstanding.
Marks T2 is/are well presented here but I love the RC10T a bit more so it`s time to...
I am looking for a particular edition (not sure which month) of Radio Race Car International Magazine which had coverage of the 1994 1/10 Offroad Florida Winter Championships. The year would have been 1994 obviously. This is UK based...

Thank you both Moggie XL and Cedric.
I have to say that I am always impressed with the help that the RC10Talk forum produces.
