I believe it's connected with the Google Adsense bar at the top of the page. Google I'm not concerned about, it's the other bots that I've never heard of, like Voyagerbot.

its just wrong to have the avatar on the right...
I much prefer it on the left myself, but am getting used to the new look and feel. What I dislike the most is the ambiguity of the "read/unread" icon that is before each thread title. At CT, using the black theme is the easiest to determining what's read and what's not, here there isn't a big difference as long as you're using ss2, but any of the other themes and it's nearly impossible to tell if there's new posts or not.
A new thing here that isn't over at CT is when making a reply you've got the font color chart to the right of the response box. While this makes for quickand easy color changes,it makes it much more difficult to input a response because the text box is so small.
Aw well, if we didn't have something to complain about we wouldn't be happy now, would we! LOL
klavy69 wrote:... when I give you s&#t its a loan...I want it back!
what is very cool now is that when you haven't read all the posts and log off, when you come back these are still marked as unread. It was a PITA before, now the wife will be happier with a more chopped reading

My email does not have spam filtering. Well, it does but I turn it off. You never know when you might need 2% off your mortgage or 2% on your............pride. Yeah, that's it.
Now I did get a message when I first logged on yesterday that my messages were on hold because my box was full. But the bar only shows like 50%. I'll clean that out and see if I start getting the email notifications again. I'll be lost if I don't. I hardly ever remember what I say on what thread. Sometime I'll go back and think, did I really type that? And Why?

I was thinking that I should make a setup board for myself, but I don't have any experience using them.
Does anyone here use one? Are there anything that make one better to use?

This may be an off-topic question. With the data from the 4-corner system, it seems to me you're very limited on adjusting existing weight. You would have to add weight to even things out.
You are correct. The adhesive backed lead wheel weights...

I see I'm not the only guy into RC and slot cars. Welcome aboard!!
I bought my JRx2 when they first came out. The box didn't even have any pictures on it, just JRx2 on the lid. I traded the box to a big time Losi guy at the local track. I have mostly Associated stuff and felt the box should be in a Losi collection....

Hello I am new to this fantastic board. I have found a ton of useful information and lose the subforums for the different makes of all the old school cars. I do have a question though; what makes a care a works car? I have seen this in many posts...

Works typically means a factory special. More an English term than American.
So this board is mainly for vintage RC10, etc., so I was wondering where do you go for non-vintage forums?

Hi everyone, I'm wondering if there are any Canucks here, maybe from the GTA / Ontario? I pulled out my vintage gold pan from 1987 that was still all original a few months ago at my sons request. Funny enough, the old ni-cd charged up and ran the...

I am in Ottawa. I have heard of St. Polycarpe but have never been myself.
Well I am back to RC10talk! Had a bunch of stuff going on with my job, and as that goes - just snowballs. Had to whittle some of the collection down, but am now back on my feet, thank goodness! So to everyone, I have not been ignoring you, just had...

Maurice, it is good to see you. I am glad everything has worked out for you. If there is anything I can do for you, let me know.
Hey Guys! My name is Dale. I live in Kamloops BC Canada. I have a small vintage Associated and Tamiya collection and race new Associated cars at our local track. I started racing in 1986 with a Tamiya Frog and then to a Tamiya Falcon then moved way...
