Thanks for the tip, looks like I'll be buying online for any parts needed. I called a few local hobby shops and they said these parts couldn't be found locally.

Also yesterday I stopped back that yard sale to see if this guy had any parts for these cars and he had found an RC10 truck in a box in the garage he forgot he had. So I bought the truck and remote for another $3.00. The truck has been beat pretty bad and needs parts as well, so looks like I"ll have to find some parts for it as well, lol...

Here are a few pictures of the truck I bought yesterday.

He said he has a big box of parts for these as well, but he didn't know where he stashed them. I gave him my number and asked him to call me if he came across them, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he calls. Until then, I'll be searching the world over for parts. I wish we had a local shop to buy this stuff, but I guess Portland Oregon is just to wet most of the time and the RC car thing isn't very big here. I know they have had a few indoor tracks open up, but they didn't last to long. I better get busy getting these on the road, as I only have about a 3 month window to enjoy them.

I switched out the electronics on my buggy, just waiting on the shock tower to come in. I did manage to wire the broken shock tower together good enough to get it out on the street and run it for a bit. Man I had forgotten how much fun it was running these cars. Looks like I'm hooked again
