Strip the old anodizing with Heavy Duty Easy-Off (you can Google info on how to do this) and then either get it professionally anodized, powder coated, or prime and paint it yourself.

i may be interested in a tranny, i need to find the shocks first. i wish i remembered what i did with it all. another thing that shocked me was i found this older front end, i have no idea why i have or what my intent was with it 15yrs ago. is it worth anything?

^ That was the original front end, you probably upgraded to the long arm front end at some point. The shocks won't be too difficult to source, tons on ebay.

I'd say strip the chassis and have it re-anno'd. Or if you like the bare aluminum look, you could strip it and polish it. :mrgreen:
