I know this is nearly a 2 year old thread but I'm new here Anyways, I'm pretty sure you can use normal plaster to back fill the body, that's what we use in prosthetics/orthotics to make plaster positive molds. Hope that helps!

Andy's steringknuckles with metal inserts for the kingpins would fit the project well (They are for the optima but fit the 870C too)
That's funny... he told me a similar storage unit story. He took my card and said he would be in contact. Never heard from him. Heard later that his short term memory is not what it used to be.
At this point I would hope for some vintage paint on...

They are the prepainted bodies hanging on an endcap inside the store. I dont know if you can do any ordering (like that) from their website, but an e mail never hurt.
