If you want tokeep your original arms spotless, click the link above.
Front c-hubs and steering knuckles can be substituted by their academy wyvern counterparts; I have plenty nib.

Hi that's obvious if I break it I will fix it.
But I need to know if there are any parts that are very rare to find and with a big chance of breaking them.
What I meant was: this was a competition level car in its days. If you don't go crazy and drive halfway descent you shouldn't have to worry about breaking stuff.

If you find and put a plastic/delrin front bulkhead then you can try to find Drescher front arms, they're bulletproof.
but you have to change c-hubs
at this point you can also upgrade to RPM or alu steering hubs
We need more pics than that! if it is a91 then the rear hub carriers were weak and cracked very easily so try and find some later ones all will fit from the 92 on.
Again if it is a 91 the. The fine pitch belts might be a problem, you need to keep the tensioner right if it’s not then you’ll strip both belts in a couple of laps.

Hi Peakey
This is all I have. I hope it is enough for you
Thanks for the advice.
Yep definitely a 91, like I said if you can hunt the other bits out it might help you. Also if you convert it to the 92 drive train you can add a slipper if you can find one of those that is.
Finally finished my Works Yokomo project. It has some 93 parts namely rear tower and steering. A white nylon front bulkhead and black plastic rear one. A new alloy motor mount with tensioners for both front and rear belts and a new slipper...

Thanks James,
Yeah - they are a very nice buggy for sure. I too am going to bust out some Suzuki gear and other bling bits - it just has to go hard-core racer now. I am hoping to build a good looking reliable vintage runner with a bit of bling to...
Got this from a good mate. It started life as a Ferrari on road racer. A Optima Mid Custom chassis that Kyosho slapped on a nice shell with the cool 5 spoke star chrome wheels. My mate converted it to...

Spent the last couple days on this now.
I installed a new digital servo, Brushless speedie with a 8.5 sensored motor.
The gearing is around the right mark. The platinum shocks aren't that good and too stiff . The rear springs are modded Losi...
Finally pulled the finger out - tore it down and rebuilt it.
Had to replace all the screws, nuts and balljoint balls due to corrosion.
Fresh AE aluminum for the front and rear bulkheads and 3mm black steel button head hex for the rest, except the...

Looks great Dennis, it seems to be turning into a bit of a unicorn car for me I can never seem to get one :? One day I hold out hope
So I’ve been on the fence ready to pull the trigger on a rere XLS or Optima but for some reason I just could not bring myself to fire. As the last few years have passed I’ve kind of fallen out of love with the entire rere thing. It kind of happened...
