Tekin Mospower Controller with weird mod

Such BD43... transistors were used for two different purposes in the old ESC´s.
Either for the BEC circuitry or for the driving stage.
Without the schematics it´s hard to see which is the purpose at the Mospower.

But it seems there have been other mods or repairs as well. Because the RFP 50N05 FET is a much newer type and was not available at the time the Mospower ESC was released.

This is the model ESC I started with - It never let me down. I ran it a number of my RC vehicles back in the late 80’s/early 90’s. Good job bringing it back to life!
