I don't think Dinglem should take all the blame. Just most of it.

Seriously though, online media definitely has played a huge role in increased prices over the years. A lot of the more obscure brands were once a hell of a lot cheaper as they were virtually unknown to the masses. Not anymore.

I paid $370AUD for two NIB 2WD SG Coyotes in 2014. Nowadays, what would the same pair command? Probably a lot more.

look at towers prices for rj speed rjspeed or as i like to call them bolink legends $100 and bolink diggers $105. what??!!so they charge more for less of a car?? i think i paid like $30 for a bolink digger new .. they must really be tryin to make...

I just saw this thread. My brother and I use to have to have legends. We almost got diggers for $40 new and then changed our minds to get the legends once we saw them. The legends were only $65 or $70. Wow they want a lot for those new ones.

I was just browsing Ebay and i came across a Tamiya Striker that was listed at £550 so i thought i'd have a look expecting to find something with some nice period Mod parts , maybe one of the rare Tamiya Mod motors or a Thorp diff or something but...

I think the Striker is interesting looking RC , and would like to find a clean used one .. but not at the prices asked now. :roll:

The same seems to be happening with Falcon prices - through the roof.

The price tag said Robbe, but I'm not sure if it really belongs in one of their cars, or the shop just used their tags on everything at that time.

I've looked through the forum and other than a few piecemeal pieces of advice I've not actually seen a thread with driving tips from experienced, race winning drivers.

Obviously different drivers will have different opinions on driving techniques...

I've been buying cars lately and the prices just seem to be less than they used to be.
