Do vintage batteries for display leak over time?

Brushed, nicad, radios, etc...

You're right, totally forgot about the size difference. The ends are still faithful-ish, might be able to cut 'em down to fit.

I store my display batteries on the shelf amongst other items like buld dischargers and other electronic equipment. I even have a battery bug on display, anyone remember those? I also display some loose cells in battery jigs to emulate how they were used back when, and these are cheap and you can take them in and out as you wish.
