I presume due to the mods made, its not a simple as transplanting the guts into a different case would it?
A paris motor would be sick.

Re: Problem with engine
The case looks pretty much untouched. I noticed slag like rises in the seems where the 2 halves were joined. I think if anyone would have/could have modded the case, the first thing they would have done is clean those up.
Everything else looks tweaked though. So a transplant, I think could be possible. The hard part will be finding a case that had the same cut-aways for the ports. But then again, picco made a bunch of 5+1 engines. I may toy with this when/if I come across an old case I can get a hold of.

Re: Problem with engine
If you need a good cheap motor for your buggy I highly recommend an Ofna Hyper.21 8 port race motor (the black one with silver head). I have run one in my Ultra comp, Hyper 7, and Revo. Has great top-end and still does wheelies on command in the Revo. It's a great bargain motor, and can be found new for about $125 shipped on ebay.

Yeah, I've been eye balling the Ofna motors also. My brothers seems to be holding up well and at $125, they are almost disposable.
