due to what I'd just call, "unsportsmanlike conduct" from 1 driver who started off passing me before the start of the race and proceeded to just block/hit passing cars.
Seems an odd thing for what should be a fun event of vintage nerds. Usually if someone is that blatant they get called out by the crowd when my local track was open at least. And I think I read in another thread someone stole your RPM bulkhead there? WTF was going on there? Let's call them out :D

I'm pretty sure I know who he's talking about. He can just be glad he's not one of the local guys that has to race against him on a consistent basis.

First I'm hearing about any theft. I've been going there for a year and never had an issue. But unfortunately, you can't trust everyone. I don't let things lay out like I used to.

It was over in the what have you done RC today. He mentioned his RPM bulkhead was stolen at Palooza hence why he now had a Dhawk aluminum. I don't know how people like that sleep at night. Looked a great time, was good to see some dirt flying, the cars looked at home relative to the modern surfaces.

That really sucks. For all the years I've ever raced- I've had one pair of special front tires stolen at the track. What did they get, maybe the community can come up with one-

Oh no the rpm bulkhead wasn't stolen, I just took it off on my pro se to put on my lxt no actual theft.
Consistency is the key I keep misplacing.

I figured he might just not be well versed in track etiquette. I don't know the guy, can't even remember the name. I have plenty of interactions with the type at my home track, usually it's newer drivers.

Ahh, that makes sense. Sometimes guys get accused of blocking and honestly I've been there, they are competing hard for whatever spot they are in and not 100% focused on the fast guy trying to lap them for the 3rd time.

I recall an outdoor asphalt TT02 series that happened to me. Was having a great race competing for position 3 I think. 4th place and I were competitive all day. Was having one of the best drives ever and the leader accused me of blocking him in one corner. I was like dude, you've been 3 laps ahead of us all day, I am not nearly good enough to actually block you, it takes 100% focus to stay in the lines for me and I was racing hard for my spot. You're 3 laps ahead already, show some patience and go around when you have the opportunity.

But I digress....

It was less blocking and more crashing into my car, and then crashing into the car again after the marshal reset us. Getting tangled up with the same car over and over is frustrating. Hey the track was pretty rough maybe he just couldn't keep a consistent line, but when you're lapped traffic and have a collision with a car that's ahead of you, just let them go first and don't whiskey throttle into them, no one wins in that situation lol.

Totally, same car over and over who thinks he is going to win if the marshal just gets to him 3 seconds quicker on his 37th crash, been there! Generally though I have found most people to have the right attitude. Always a couple though and in my experience those couple are not always the slow guys.
