Hey scr8p,,, not to jack your thread, just inspired by another rodder on here so I'm posting up a pic of my '50. ran it with a couple different flatheads, and now a mildly built vintage 302, all with a super t10 4speed behind them.

the nomad wheel wells are so much nicer than just radiusing them out, and making a lip out of conduit or something of the sort. although, that's how guys did it back then.

this is what it looked like the day it showed up. bad pic from my cell phone, but it makes the car look a lot better than it actually was.

yeah, it has Jamco springs up front and drop spindle carriers that I made for about 6" and in the back it has 3" drop posies springs with 2.5 in blocks. even with that little drop I had to raise the tunnel a little to keep the driveshaft from rubbing

sure there is. try to figure out whats wrong with your car without thousands of dollars in diagnostic equipment when it's not running right.

i friggin' HATE new cars. all of them. except the dodge challenger. :D
I hear ya. I've always been pretty good with mechanical things. When you start tossing in electronics, sensors, computers, and kitchen sinks things get a little dicey! I also love how they "new and improve" something until it's a piece of crap! The ebrake on my 02 GMC has toasted for the second time and it's rarely used, which according to the tech sheet, is because it doesn't get used enough - explain THAT one! Or the engine knock they've designed into the 350 (don't even talk to me about liters ... ).

Wow that car looks hot. Are you going to paint it or leave it primer for the rat rod look?

Really a great job it brings back memories as my mother had a 55 very similar except stock of course. All I remember was something about Delray Coupe or 210 well its too long ago, but really a great car and super craftsmanship. :)

it's a 2 part urethane paint. but, you can't wax it. that'll just make it shiny. and a screwed up, uneven kind of shiny at that.

the only thing you could really use on it would be like a meguires quik detailer, or something along those lines.
