That's one of the sweetest looking RC10's I've ever seen. Awsome.
I can't help but laugh at the irony of it though. Get a super light CF chassis, then completely defeat the whole purpose of it by making every other part aluminum. Of coarse I suspect the true purpose of that car is just to look killer, in witch case it's a resounding success.

Alex, I must firstly thank you for the offer, but I've already grabbed some front tubes. I saw your CF tub for the first time about 2 years ago. I didn't even know that such a chassis had ever been made, and I was staggered by the look of your little gems, I don't think one of my RC10's will ever look like yours because of the amazing custom job that lies behind them... but it's always good to have dreams and some source of inspiration with a personal touch that makes the difference, I presume what we like the most in the RC10 is it's tunability that makes it so versatile and compatible with everyone's ultimate dream car...

I think the Worlds Car look would be sweet. Especially if you also used the Fyberlite front and rear shock towers and a rear wing that mounts to the rear tower (no wing tubes). CF > aluminum in all cases. In fact, CF > world + dog.
Also, the HG clear shocks would be a nice bonus. I had a set of them.
Basically, go alu free for great justice.

Alex... every ime I see this car it makes me feel dizzy...
I can't belive there were so many alu parts for the RC-10... I grew up too late... By the time I could afford a RC10 this stuff was long gone. I can't stand the plastic looking cars of today.
Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice car!
Cool feather lite chassis asso_man by the way

Well guys, I am (very) slowly gathering parts for this very hot project and had to dig deep to find this thread. I oredred those UBER cool carbon fiber parts from Fibre-Lyte last week and received them promptly. I had a very good communication with them and I must say they do an excellent job out there, the parts are very well machined and finished and I would definitely recommend them. This is of course a teaser just to hold your breath
I am pretty sure I will only use white parts, Andy's A-arms, RPM rear bulkhead and gear cover (for the Hydra-Drive) and Associated for the rest. I am considering to fit my MINT JPS wheels and perhaps Teflon coated shocks... What do you think? Any comment, proposal?

I spoke with them last week and it sounds like they don't want to make the nose plates (too difficult to drill accurately or something ) so I'm not sure what their position is on the rest of the project a shame but maybe there's a little back pedalling going on
