Fibre-Lyte CF Chassis News.
I have heard today that Fibre-Lyte are looking to add RC10 Graphite style one piece CF chassis to their catalogue, they are probably going to retail at about £80 / $120 + shipping. I thought this might be interesting from an OIN perspective, any thoughts?

Re: Fibre-Lyte CF Chassis News.
Maybe they'll do an FL milling....then someone can do a little extra milling on their own to change the L to a U.
I like that they're doing it but I'm a cheapskate so I won't buy one.

I would probably spring for a c.c. worlds d.d. chassis before that. Cheaper and cooler.

CC did not impress me at all in their latest "attempt" to come back. If I want a knife handle I would probably use CC
I'd like to see what FL has to offer. Probably wont be my cup of tea but you never know, at least they are into r/c

Re: Fibre-Lyte CF Chassis News.
The impression I'm getting is they are going to create a blank with the correct angle kick up, I reckon beyond that the world is your (with in reason) oyster. I have shown them a Graphite 6 gear and steath chassis, a TQ10, Strate Racing and JG slotted truck chassis, none of them seemed to be an issue. The only thing to note is Fybre-Lyte's chassis all have a weave, they don't do a plain finish material like a TQ10 chassis.gomachv wrote: I'd like to see what FL has to offer. They will do anything you like beyond weave chassies, but you will have to provide them with the material. I did it before and worked like a charm.Synergy wrote:The impression I'm getting is they are going to create a blank with the correct angle kick up, I reckon beyond that the world is your (with in) reason oyster. Re: Fibre-Lyte CF Chassis News.
To be perfectly honest the knifes are more lucrative. I just purchased a CC chassis and I am very happy with it. They took three weeks from order until delivery and it was well worth it.gomachv wrote:CC did not impress me at all in their latest "attempt" to come back. Re: Fibre-Lyte CF Chassis News.
That is good news.
The only down side is the incredibly long time it takes FL take to make items.
RC Carbon Works are extremely fast.

Re: Fibre-Lyte CF Chassis News.
I've never noticed that, most everything I order I have in my hand within a week with the only exception being my carbon tub, but as that was a bit more of an intensive process it didn't concern me too much.kink wrote:

Re: Fibre-Lyte CF Chassis News.
Is there a new link for the Fibre Lyte website? The one I have is not working?
