you've got some great stuff going on at present mr Asso, these are both super sweet, as are the rest of your current projects mate.

As if the car is not bad enough. That motor is simply awesome and with the car looks killer. Is that end bell aluminum??shodog wrote:Gotta love those old team checkpoint motors

Re: Late Graphite Team Car twins
indeed mate, CNC machined endbell, I'm simply in love with those. I bought a lot of three Checkpoint motors from a Team Racer a couple of months ago. They were pretty well maintained by the factory as you can guessTadracket wrote:As if the car is not bad enough. That motor is simply awesome and with the car looks killer. Re: Late Graphite Team Car twins
Superb job Asso-man!!!!! Beyond the motor and other parts you used (which are still nice nonetheless
), that chassis is the ultimate diamond in the rough especially in that condition. Unpopular when it was released and super-dooper rare now

That's a great looking car!
I'm a little slow to catch on sometimes.
how many different Factory AE graphite chassis types are there? I thought they all came with "AE" milled out, but this one looks totally different from the one I had.

Re: Late Graphite Team Car twins
To my knowledge, there were only three Factory AE graphite chassis types, TQ10, Graphite with AE logo and Graphite Team Car without logoaconsola wrote:That's a great looking car!

I'm on a sort of holiday right now and really enjoy taking all those projects off my mind, it frees a LOT of space on by bench and in my too encumbered head, lol. Some of those latest projects have been lingering for years now. Enjoy those guys because after this rush, I'll only be watching your projects and have more time to commentmrlexan wrote:Damn Dude, you are a building fool. I was thinking the same thing. I barely have time to do one car every few months, let alone, 2 extremely sweet builds in a couple weeks.mrlexan wrote:Damn Dude, you are a building fool. Slow down, you are making the rest of us look bad.
Keep it up dude. You are smokin'.

Re: -Late Graphite Team Car twins-
I'm not entirely sure this car...

...has it's original chassis.
My though was when the non-logo chassis came out the transition had already been made to all black parts.
Looks like it's in danger of being chopped anyway.

Re: -Late Graphite Team Car twins-
Here are a couple of better pics from the other one, the previous was running it (without the ultra rare BK Reedy motor of course!)
