the last rc10's i wrenched on were my nats cars. :?

i have more rc10 'projects' in various stages of completion/startup than i can honestly remember at this point... one that easily comes to mind is a goldpan mip 410 car that i basically just need to put together... but i lost ambition and started focusing on crawlers again... while i appreciate a good period correct build or resto, i just dont have the patience for it. thus the reason the mip car is still a bunch of parts in a box...

i'm with brian, i would love to see more custom stuff.

Yeah i woud agree with scr8p i keep waiting for that next build to pop up but havent seen much? I am starting to feel the pinch but cant get myself to sell any cars i figure once there gone you might never see one again its not like you can get one at the store. I have finished three builds in the last month or so but cant post anything because the whole image compression i was doing fine till my microsoft software quit didn't relise it was a demo and now i cant seem to find a way to compress the photos?? I have had a ton of stuff to post and topics but the full version of the microsoft is 179.00 i cant swing that hope some one can help me out with this if you do i can post my new builds a rc10 oval with mcallister kit/cc chassis and dahms devestator body also a rc10ce and of course some pan cars 10l/composite craft preditor/rc300bd/and my three bolink prototypes.

Don't bother compressing-- just open a photobucket.com account and upload them there. Let them sweat the bandwidth.

Hey now!

Work is my problem. I am up at 5:30 a.m. and I don't get home til 6:30/7:00 p.m. When I get home I don't feel like doing much of anything. Not to mention, my house in Michigan is empty, no renters, at the moment and that comes right out of my pocket.

I do have a few Frogs on the work table, but I am out of some parts and I can't seem to devote the time to searching for and buying them. I keep telling myself I am going to get to them, but that is all it has amounted to... telling myself and no action.
I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike.

I think there's a lot of this going around......

Right at this point, we have two foster pups in the house, one of which needs constant supervision. This makes 5 dogs in the house, and they don't always get along.... and the other foster has an insane love of barking at anything that moves on four legs..... LOUD!

Couple that to my wife's recent idea to change a lot of our long term furniture (bed, bedroom setting, dining table) means there's heaps of extra furniture about, and not much $$$.... and she replaced my rc build table with one too nice to work on rc cars on!!!!

I have a HEAP of ongoing projects, most of which would be interesting to at least a few here..... but I just can't get time, motivation, space to work on them start to finish.

Oh, and it's hot.

Damn hot.

I have a 1/4 scale 911 Yankee that needs a turn force sevro that I want to get done. And A HPI BAJA 5b that i need to fix before summer.

And like everone else money tight.

Vicious cycle of work, working side-jobs, a 2 year old, and a wife have slowed my projects down. Also waiting for warm weather to paint outside. Wife gets pissed when I paint in the basement. Last build was in December.

This topic has made me feel melancholy and sad so I put words to song (music by Pete Seeger "Where have all the flowers gone?")

Where have all the new builds gone
long time passing
Where have all the new builds gone
long time ago
Where have all the new builds gone
they've been long built everyone
When will they ever return?
When will they e v e r return?

Where have all the RC10's gone
long time passing
Where have all the RC10's gone
long time ago
Where have all the RC10's gone
they've been long built everyone
When will they ever return?
When will they e v e r return?

Where have all the Losi's gone
long time passing
Where have all the Losi's gone
long time ago
Where have all the Losi's gone
they've been long built everyone
When will they ever return?
When will they e v e r return?

Where have all the Yokomo's gone
long time passing
Where have all the Yokomo's gone
long time ago
Where have all the Yokomo's gone
they've been long built everyone
When will they ever return?
When will they e v e r return?

Where have all the Kyosho's gone
long time passing
Where have all the Kyosho's gone
long time ago
Where have all the Kyosho's gone
they've been long built everyone
When will they ever return?
When will they e v e r return?

Where have all the new builds gone
long time passing
Where have all the old builds gone
gone to shelfs and eBay everyone
Where have all the old builds gone
covered with dust everyone
When will we ever learn?
When will we e v e r learn?

I think I will return to my closet with my builds and meditate
peace to my r/c brothers and sister

Here's my latest build and the reason I don't have much time at the moment. No this isn't my garage it's my kitchen and dinning room  Oh and I'm putting a new bathroom in at the same time just because I didn't think this alone was a big enough task for a DIYer

I've been slowly getting rid of all my AE cars, always loved them, just cant stand building a car I know I wont run. I have moved into the Losi catagory, and if it wasnt raining right now, would be outside taking pics of some LXT and Pro SE/Junior2 Hybrid builds I have been doing, none are shelfer bound or quality, but each will be set up with all modern equipment to race. I am building 2 of each, one for me and one for my buddy to race...once built, the "left overs" will be in the BST...

Just saw this thread - thought the same some weeks ago :) I am a bit busy at work at the moment and it seems that i have started too many builds in parallel to be able to document or even finish them:

yokomo yz-10 pavidis with complete end of the line '97 parts on it (only shock bushings and electronics missing:))
yokomo works 93 (only front end and electronics missing)
yokomo 870C (still NIB)
yokomo 870C (runner, electronics still missing)
yokomo mx-4 (finished new built, electronics still missing)
yokomo mx-4 (nearly finished 2nd new built as runner)
yokomo yr-4 (2ndd one in the midlle of building)
schumacher cat XL (just started)
schumacher cougar 2 works (finished but still to be modded according to bormac's tips)
rc4wd trailfinder (soldered the electronics today)
hpi baja 5SS (still in box)

......

I promise i'll take pics :)

I'm in a similar position to Phoenix, I have a too many projects that are unfinished but I never know which one to start. I pull all the cars out, look at the parts i've acquired, dream about what I will do with them then put them away! I have also just completed a couple of mountain bike builds which turned out to be lengthy. I've just got stuck back into my King Cab build, trying to hack a slipper clutch into it at the moment.

Nice Song a01butal
