Looks like a date change for the vintage get together =" June 26th "at Eli Field in Monticello, Illinois. Don't know about having water and power by then. but we do have a track laided out,it will set up for short course so it will be vintage friendly, so bring a ezee up and a grille and lets just have some fun. The event will last most of the day so bring your shelf queens for us to drool over. Bring parts for the swap meet. This is" NOT " a race event but the track will be open to play on ALL DAY. Ahhh major bummer. That weekend is the SCCA June Sprints at Road America, which means Keith and I are both out. Too bad, we would have really enjoyed this event.

Monticello is 20 miles west of Champaign on I-72 and Champaign is 130 miles south of Chi-town 2 and a half - 3 hour drive one way.

It's all good for this weekends get-together. Track is ready and a temp. drivers stand installed. looks like a nice weekend for runnin' some "VINTAGE"

Lee and I just wanted to thank everyone who came out for this event. We had a blast. Thanks bro for coming up from Florida to be at this event. Thanks to Lee Morrison from Horizon Hobbies for bringing out his rare vintage cars. We saw some neat cars and trucks. The track was in great shape(will post pics soon) Rick!!

The BEST part of the day were the KIDS that have NEVER been on a track before!!

To menter these new to the hobby was and is PRICELESS!!!!
