So do I! Thanks Aaron!
Does this mean that we'Re going to have access to ProRadiant repro bodies? Oh my god... I'm dreaming... :)

MrLexan I think I may have a saddle chassis plate in one of my boxes if that's what your looking for. Are you still trying to get a template for the proRadiant chassis as well? I'm back in Canada and could perhaps help you with that now.

Darryn, not trying to short circuit you at all by the way, would be happy to help that's all.

Man, I want that shell so badly....

This is the one vintage 4wd that I would enjoy owning...and racing...just need to get my hands on one to start getting it ready...

Yeah I ran my Boost at the last vintage Ryde meeting and this thing was KILLER with a 12 turn bolted in to it. Ive made a handful of changes but the original chain drive system had no problems with the power being put through it which kinda suprised me.
In the first heat I clipped the side of the track and broke a vulnerable point in the steering linkage which snapped it clean near the built in servo saver (my fault as i glued this up to take out the built in slop). I was suprised just how well the car drove (and handled) through the infield and down the straight aways.

To me this car is one of my most prized!

Can't believe we're going to get a body repro for this buggy. What body have you guys used for your Radiant/boost/proradiant/etc?

Would you believ that my shell is actualy a repro? My good buddy Ant has the mold to make more- . I will hope to borrow it and see if Thomas (BUGLE) can do a short run for those who need a shell. I will make an undertray mold aswell so there will be both on offer if Thomas and Ant agree. :D

Yeah this is really great news. I've been hoping for repro shells for ayk buggies for years. I have a few NIB ones that I don't dare cutting or even less painting, I paid $$$ for them. I'd be happy to use repro shells though. The other thing is that AYK shells were often very thin and fragile. So thicker shells would be great.

I'll definitely keep checking this thread. I'm buyer for a couple shells assuming they are in the normal price range for repro shells.

[quote="AYKBOBCAT"]Cool car... I also have a proradiant as well as a radiant. All packed up in boxes at the moment as we just moved into a new place and I had no time to setup an R/C room. The Radiant is a nice gold plated all aluminum chassis but heavier than the proradiant.

Here are a few picts of my cars. At the time they were collecting dust as I was away from Canada, now I'm back but I hve no time (for now)

you know I am in for some bodies!!!!! The one thing though Mrlexan, can you use a little heavier sheets for the radiant bodies then they original I think that was the down fall of the original bodies being that they were to thin in some areas which made them very weak no sense repeating the problem on re issue bodies
