It was just dumb luck for me. You don't know how many time I asked this guy if he had a chassis laying around in the back. Then one day I walk in and ones hanging on the peg board right next to the cash register. I thought it was just a black chassis till I got it home.
Not high jacking your thread metallicats33 but I think as far as rare chassis gos the tq10 gets over looked, it was only out for what 2 years? with a short arm and long arm versions. Then theres the B2.

tq10's are indeed pretty hard to find in good or unused shape, or without the chassis being drilled out at the battery cup to fit a stick pack...
i'd speculate that there are alot more rc10's still hiding in the parents attic and other places. or they are with people like me, and will only pop up for re-circulation after my 'estate sale'...
i dont know what to say about all this talk of rc10 crap being rare when it was arguably one of the most produced and popular rc cars ever...

I've got a worlds car on the way that I picked up on the bay. (WOW, I'm a poet) It looks to be in pretty good condition but I want to completly restore it to mint. I have most of the parts NIP to do this. The milled chassis...
I have finally found a guy that is able to mill my chassis to look like the worlds chassis. Only thing is that he has never done one so he does not know the exact dimensions and I have never even seen one to know them. Does anyone have template that...

there is also a thread somewhere about the dimensions on this. the depth of the cut was in there as the thickness of an AE flatwasher IIRC. Try the search in the Vintage RC10 Section for it and might be able to have time to check out some of the...
We've all seen this before another perfectly nice worlds tub gone....brown 1 a1 worlds4 resto 001.jpg firstly I know what you're thinking, Reggie might need help :| But there was a reason for me to get this one :!: I spent about 15 hours talking to...
OK ... I have two RC10 Worlds Cars. One is a restored all black car, and one is an in progress white and black car. This brings me to a few questions:
1) What was the point of the milled sections in the chassis?
2) Was the Worlds chassis really...

Well. I can tell you why the chassis were milled. One -was weight. Two -was to provide a channel under the batteries for the speedo wire. Three -was to provide a channel for dirt that collected in the car to find its way out via the holes. This was...
I've never seen one in person and I guess I haven't seen it (or more probably never paid attention) on the pics of other world's chassis, but is this narrowing of the rear end, stock or a later modification? And what is the reasoning behind it? I...
