I had a 2002 Dakota excab 2wd with a 4.7 and 3:55 gears it would smoke any Mustang from the light. what a blast to drive. I miss it very much :(
I had an 02 or 03 rental Dakota 4x with the v-8. Very impressive power. Even took it out wheeling and it would do some serious stuff before locking in the 4x was necessary. Still like my GMC better, but I'd take a Dodge if I had to.

Drove a 6 banger Durango, what a pig! I could get out and walk up hills faster than that pile. If it would have had the v8 that the Dakota had, I can see where it would have been a decent rig.

BTW, all I said is that I like my GMC better, not knocking the Dodge at all. 8) At least you didn't say that dirty F word ...

Cmon... so far this thread has not stooped to the 'your brand sucks' level. Let's keep it that way, Mr. Fix Or Repair Daily.
The preceding contained opinions, beliefs and thoughts that all may not agree with. No offense was intended at any point. Carry on.

Now, now, everyone is allowed their opinion ... even if it's wrong.
