Re: Tamiya FAV re-release announced!
Someone really wanted parts tree b and c. They were on there for about 5 mins. I wonder if the tan color will match the original parts?

It will take time before I build this
I will scout for SS screw (Lhs) to replace the Tamiya's screw (Tamiya's screw, screw me a lot, no offense)
How’s your buggies, I’m surprised that your son broke the heavy duty Durango in one day.

Re: Tamiya FAV re-release announced!
will wait for your post, still thinking if i should buy one for my son, coz he said he wants to build one on his own. can you suggest some kits that he can build that is not so bad in the pocket.
well, after a day in BTP, the rear bulkhead of his 410 broke, well maybe due to the bumps and crashes of his dad. hahaha.... but got it going now. my 22 is alive after the rear arm broke. still testing though the gear diff that i put in ( less maintenance, newbie me that is...). the rest of the 10's are sideline ( waiting for cash ).
what do you mean SS screw? ah.. i also expreienced the screws of tamiya.. hahaha.. post pics when done..
thanks....

SS Screw = Stainless Steel Screw or hex screw, I’ve heard that some of the hardware stores in our area sell those screws.slow_jun wrote:will wait for your post, still thinking if i should buy one for my son, coz he said he wants to build one on his own. can you suggest some kits that he can build that is not so bad in the pocket.

Sorry for the misunderstanding, so it’s you who broke the kit and not your son?
Maybe next time, let your son do the driving and we just watch and maybe we can learn from him.
When I’m playing with my kids, I have no chance to drive as I become their mechanic and when the car flip (run left and right) a runner as well.
But I’ve enjoyed a lot for that moment, something to treasure.
