Re: touring car question
How about a 1st generation (gearbox) RS4? I'd love to off mine...there's a ton of spares for it included. I haven't gotten pics together yet for the BST, but if you wanna go there shoot me a PM.

Re: touring car question
I would recomend an HPI car like a rs4 pro or Pro2. their dirt cheap and the body mounts will line up with the ones on the body.

Re: touring car question
good point. my loyalty to a.e. is pretty solid on this though, and i much prefer the shaft layout of the tc cars.
i've watched a couple videos of rc drifting, they look pretty dern fun. gonna go that route.

Re: touring car question
I was just talking to a friend of mine about starting an R/C drift club here in the Houston area. I got into drifting with 1/18 stuff, but I have been wanting a 1/10 ever since. Drifting is a ton of fun, and can be done relatively inexpensively. Although I am planning to spend a good chunk of change on my rig when I finally get around to it LOL.

And you can have a YOKOMO that's readily available!badhoopty wrote:it certainly looks fun. its kinda like crawling where you can do it in a relatively small area with little or no skill.
