Starting on the next build. A 10t style single piece carbon fiber frame build. Let’s see if I learned enough to make a more complicated piece.

Already it’s more complicated due to the shape of the tub.

It’s strong and light but not as pretty as I had hoped for.

I have to remember to make a better template for the rear bulkhead screws.
The holes I drilled were 1.7mm to tall.

Hummm too hard for my taste.
I stick to
Tamiya Smoke 2-3 coats
Ductape Brand Carpet Tape
back it with silver paint or silver vinyl
^^ it even gives you this reflective shine in the sun.

anyone have a good source for 2.5 or 3mm sheets of carbon fiber? need a bunch of it, 18 x whatever long.. anyone ever find some on the cheap side lol? dragonplate seems expensive to me

What's the best method to clean up the carbon fiber on my original RC10L? I'm giving it a complete going-over and notice the CF just doesn't have the deep sheen it had 21-years ago. It's got a bit of an oxidized look to it and I'd like to bring back...

WD40 and a soft rag does wonders. ;)

That's a good, easy tip. The chassis has very few scratches so this works well. Thanks!
