I'm thinking of leaving it bodyless, or just have a few flat pieces of white lexan, tied between the tubes: like a sand rail.

original panels were vinyl. you can find the ad somewhere here on the website.

as for bidding... there comes a point where you might as well bring this design (the ad has good pictures and all dimensions) to a local welder and have him whip it up. any guy would build a jig and then knock out a bunch of them. a professonal welder who does this for a living could probably have the job done in a couple of weeks. you could probably have this one chassis for 200 or a bunch of them made for under 500, and then start selling them...

hey its not my idea. the guy from encino who started real racing had the idea first

I probably shouldn't give this away either, but well I guess this is what this site is about. Anyways, the company is selling Mr. Oliva's whole collection, they said they will be listing the gold wheels that were on this car shortly and lots more after Christmas. So if you guys miss this one, you can buy the other Real Racing Chassis on their website still. 8)

NO. I DID TRY TO BID $260 BUT THAT DIDNT EVEN ENTER IN TIME. I MUST HAVE EMAILED THAT SELLER ABOUT 5 TIMES ON TAMIYACLUB ASKING IF HE'D SELL ONE OF THEM. IM SURE THEY ARE COOL TO OWN BUT I JUST DONT HAVE THAT KIND OF MONEY TO SPEND AT THE MOMENT. I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING WHAT YOU DO WITH IT THOUGH. ANY PLANS??
