without looking at the thunder tiger manual, my gut feel from that photo is the threads are metric. fine for the top parts, but would likely damage the noseplate threads. best bet on those is the BST or ebay.

this ball bearing steering setup would work the same as the A&L kit for most purposes. there are some slight ackermann differences, but probably not enough to notice. this thread and many responses came about before A&L started reproducing the rack kits.

Ok, that makes this kind of pointless now IMO. I just don't think chasing down hard to find parts is worth the slight cost savings.

I have been in the process of building a few new runner RC10's and restoring a few more. I really have a hard time finding the steering bell cranks for the tubs. I occasionally see them on E-bay but I always seem to get out bid... Is there another...

I am having a hard time taking the steering assembly apart. How do you go about removing the bearings from this steering setup? Or can you?

just an update. I went ahead a tried the dubro links linked above and they do not work with rps steering on a tub car. They end up being the same size as the stock ball cup and ball stud. They are too big. Need to find something similar just...

I have a big dilemma. I just recently picked up both the Composite Craft and RPM ball bearing steering new sealed for my RC10T, but can't decide which one to open up and install. Which would you guys recommend I go with? Or would the A&L steering...

I have a black ball bearing steering kitt that came with my team car and the bearings are rusted fom sitting so long. what size are they? anyone have an idea??

I'm buying one of these alu steering sets for my 10t:

It says it has 5x8 delrin bushes now would this mean i need 5x8x2.5 bearings to go in there as this is the only size i can find that matches on avidrc?

I can wait if needs be but need to put...

The only ones I seen is from MIP vintage stuff. I was using the stock ones on my RC10T Duratrax conversion until I seen these on Ebay.

I use an A&L steering and made a custom front adjustable bracket.
Just some of the options you can do.

Hi guys,

I found I had some Houge sealed bearing servo saver steering arms (which I believe are the same as A&L) and I was wondering, as this is all I have, if someone could tell me what else I need to make them work?
