Not quite ready to kickoff this project yet, but getting closer. This B stamp chassis has some issues so it's the right participant for this project since there will be a little chassis trimming needing to be done.

Definitely watching with great interest. I've wanted to do a mid-motor build of my own design for years. With 3-d print and cnc-routers becoming more commonplace, i may have to jump into it. Cant wait to see how yours pans out.
I'm building a hybrid car, B2/RC10-ish......flipped stealth for a mid motor set-up. I'm trying to figure out a good body to run on this thing, and want to base the chassis on the shape of the body if I can, for a couple reasons.

Because your rear wheel will lean outwards when the suspension is compressed.
This will give you very little grip in the rear during cornering.
Terry SC was friendly enough to point out a similar problem with the front links on one of my own...

It’s kinda open ended so I wasn’t sure what he was going for. I mean, you could easily flip the 6 gear trans but there was cutting and modifications to do also. The mrp was I believe marketed as flippable and should be ‘85-‘86 era
