Re: My Ayk Radiant
I can also help with the saddle pack chassis! How many of you would be interested in reproduction chassis parts from Fibre-lyte?

Re: My Ayk Radiant
What's chassis parts?
The 2 side or the flat chassis with 7 cells, and in Fiberglass or Graphite or Woven Carbon ?

Re: My Ayk Radiant
I think a complete chassis kit would be awesome. I went to a shop once to have it copied but the price was way to high for a few copies.
It would be great to have access to the different variations of the shock towres (the front ones changed a few times)
The other part to replicate would be the front bumber but that has a bent in it.

Re: My Ayk Radiant
And by the way I can supply all chassis parts for templates as long as they come back to me.

Re: My Ayk Radiant
I also was thinking all of the parts! Both towers, side rails, and the race prep saddle pack chassis. Might as well do the radio tray / battery mount. I would much rather have the Composite Craft graphite material myself, but that's not an option with Fibre-Lyte. Unless there is another MFG. as willing to do special projects.

Re: My Ayk Radiant
I actually had the CAD drawings done from original parts for the saddle chassis, was going to get a friend of a friend to get them laser cut from left over carbon sheets (the shop is one of the companies that builds the bikes for elite athletes here in Aus). Sadly this production moved off shore - and obviously the chance to get them done at a reasonable cost has gone.
Unfortunately - just to make it a double whammy - I have lost the disk that the CAD drawings were on........murphy's freaking law.
Hopefully I can dig up the files - however we did some intitial research - and the cost of getting Fibrlyte to do them was not cost effective (for us anyway). We run our cars and simply couldnt justify the the amount required. They make magnificent stuff - but to much for its intended use for me. I would not get "value"out of it for the amount of running it will do.
Cheers
Darryn
p.s - Jay - you going to repro that original Radiant shell?
